First Headline!

Elastic-Band is proud to have made the Art's and Entertainment section of the newspaper. The full article cannot be found in any of your local newspapers.

The Greatest Match Yet

Ona cold lonely, tuesday evening; our very own kenny played the soccer match of his life. Tearing the opposition to threads, he led his team to victory. On the night everyone was too busy to come watch. Here we have him celebrating his fourth goal. Oh ya, that may look like Barcelona's Messi. Its not.

While others practice

This is a continuation of the last post. To show the world what the rest of the band is up to while they should be practising... Firstly we have a picture of Stu, Leigh and Carmen "saving lives" in our local hospital. Ya right.

It may look like grey's anatomy. Its not.

After just one gig, it seems the lure of the glamourous life has brought Daren to his knees. Here we aee him attending the Grammy's (we don't even have a single out yet). But then again, who needs to practice?

That may look like Kanye West. Its not.

Practice, practice, practice

Its not easy making a band, thats why our lead looks, devon spends so much time getting his skills on the guitar in top shape for our next gig. If only the rest of the band were so dedicated...

Here we see Wella, sleeping his life away when he should be at practice. He told us he has a test, but our top notch paparazzi got this shot of him sleeping instead of studying. But third year's no joke...

And while Wella's sleeping and Devon's practicing, Lloyd is busy growing his hair and getting buff at the gym. Lloyd aims to be the mosts gebou member of our band by our next gig.

The life and times of our drummers - Intro

As you all might already know, we at elastic-band find ourselves in a bit of a situation at the moment: two drummers, and only one spot available. Not that anyone's getting kicked out the band, the losing drummer will then just fall into our group of talented vocalists. But enough of that, before we decide, or let you decide who should drum, the talented folk behind runitsthemedia would like to give you a more personal look into the lives of our potential drummers. How they started off as friends, and eventually becoming arch-drum-enemies. Yes, folks for the next few posts we will take you deep into the world of underground drumming and how it tore at this happy friendship until it all fell apart...
They were so happy together...

Run! Its The Drum-Off

The moment we've all been waiting for... we take you inside the ugly world of underground drumming to decide once and for all, who will drum and who will sing. This battle, between Stuey and Wella has raged on since they were little children. Both giving up their rap careers to pursue a greater calling in the world of drummers. Who will win? Watch this space for blow-by-blow action on this epic battle...

Exclusive audition photographs

Run! It's the media is proud to bring you exclusive shots of our gruelling audition process. The first in this new catogory shows monique and roscoe/richard/bruce in a traditional harp and flute duet. Sadly Monique didn't make the cut, roscoe did.

The Band in Action

We here at elastic-band were lucky enough to get a million-dollar shot of the band in action. Sadly Kendall was cut out of the picture and candice and roscoe are hidden behind devon. Feel free to leave comments on our first action shot.
Oh ya, Wella doesn't really play saxophone.

Our First GiG!!!

With only 2 and a half practices under our belts, elastic-band braved the three hour evening service to sucessfully pull off our first gig. It was a feeling like no other...
Here we have some of our guys after the show.

Elastic-Band's newest recruit

Yes, that's right folks. We here at elastic-band are still accepting late applications. Here we have our newest band member: Mr. Richard "Bruce Lee" Bennet. He surprised all of us by turning up to our pre-first-gig practice, and fit into that bass role like wella's hand fits into carmen's. Thanx richard you really add that special something to the band.
